HistoryBuilt by Romage & Ferguson in Leeds, Scotland in 1898 for F. D. Lambert of New York, this luxurious steam yacht was the ultimate in leisure travel in its time. Owned by seven wealthy New Yorkers until the Great Depression, she ended her days in service to Margaree Steamship Co. of Cape Breton, N.S. Full history of the vessel available on request.
The ModelSuperbly crafted original ship model design from builders' plans, fully detailed, with all fittings and components by the hand of the artist. Scale 1/4" to 1'0". Length 54 inches. Case is 5' 2" in length, 14" deep, and 34 ? " high.
The ArtistMark Boudreau is a retired custom builder who has created original hand-crafted ship models for many years. His immaculate ship models are known in Canada and the U.S. He specializes in steam and motor vessels of the early twentieth century.
