History Built in 1865 and launched as a clipper brigantine, Scottish Maid was noted for her fine lines and new Aberdeen bow. The Model Hand-crafted ship model of contrasting woods, double-planked with walnut outer planking and rubbed varnish natural finish. Masts and booms of Sapeli. Sails can be added. Length 27 inches. The Artist Mr. McAllister is an officer in the Canadian Coast Guard Service. He specializes in period ship models, coastal schooners of all rigs and national origins. Will consider commissions.
