History Famous Mississippi River side-wheel steamboat, built in 1866 at the Howard works in New Albany, Mississippi. Shallow draught, with high pressure steam engines, she was noted in her day for speed and comfortable accommodations. The Model Commercial ship model design by Amati, enhanced wheel housing covers and upgraded wood stock. Scale 1:150. Signed on the hull. Length 28 inches, height 14 inches, width 11 inches in custom case. The Artist Mike Findley has been building ship models for seventeen years, specializing in historic sailing ships.
