HistoryBritish sixth-rate H.M.S. Pandora is best known as the vessel sent to capture the Bounty mutineers. She subsequently explored Cook's Endeavor Strait between Australia and New Guinea where she was wrecked in 1791.
The ModelCommercial design by Constructo of Spain, modified with handmade fittings. Scale 1:85. Case L 32", H 24", W 12". Brass name plate on support stand.
The ArtistMr. Bayazitov has been a ship modeler for over 40 years, and has won eight awards for ship modeling in Kazakhstan, specializing in historic sailing ships.
