History Built in 1939 in Hamburg for whale catching in Antarctic waters. Steam powered and heavily built for ice breaking. The Model Graupner design hull abs superstructure veneer. Fittings combine commercial plastic and brass with handmade fittings. Scale 1:32. L 40", W 8", H 19". Signed inside hull. The Artist Kenny Fraser has been building ship models for 25 years, specializing in tugs and oil related nautical subjects.
