History Bulk carrier built for the Kent Lines, shipping division of the Irving Oil Company of Saint John, New Brunswick. Launched in 1976 and still in fleet service for the Kent Lines. The Model Original Builder’s ship model constructed to the highest standards of accuracy for the St. John Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company. All components and fittings by hand of the artist. Length 5 ft. 10 in. The Artist John Weeks builds ship models on commission for shipyards, corporate clients and individuals. He specializes in modern vessels, but has done historic ship models as well. Price Not for Sale but Mr. Weeks will accept commissions. Price for a large bulk carrier model $26,500 US.
