History The Grand Banks Market Schooner Flying Fish operated from Boston to the rich fishing grounds off Nova Scotia. The Model Made in 1998 from commercial ship model design by Corel-Milano, with extensive modifications in woods, fittings and handmade components including sails. This ship model demonstrates how superb execution of a commercial design can result in an outstanding piece with crisp finish and exquisite detail. Scale: 1:50. Length O/A 24", Beam 3 3/4", Height 22". The Artist John Green has been building ship models in Halifax for the last twenty-three years, specializing in vessels of the rich Canadian Maritime Provinces tradition.
