HistoryThese vessels were used as lighters to load and unload cargo from larger ships in Baltimore harbor. They had several unique features including twin cargo booms and large anchors.
The ModelModified commercial design by Sergal, scale 1:43, double plank on bulkhead construction of walnut, mahogany, Tanganyika, basswood, beech, and cherry with brass fittings. Custom details and additions include finished lifeboat and Whitehall tender boat. Full standing and running rigging. Oak stand signed by artist. Completed 2002. Length 22 ?², height 20².
